Q.: What is the relationship between evolution and atheism?
A.: They are both words found in a dictionary of the English language.
not being familiar with either, my question is:.
what is the relationship between evolution and atheism?.
i'd love to hear from anyone and everyone, and also from any perspective.. without limiting the conversation in any way, i would of course also appreciate comments that are simple, clear, direct and correct (as i don't have the capacity to do a phd in evolution or atheism)..

last week my mother (i live with her) gave me some clues that she finally awoke, and well, that came to be true and we now speak openly against many many things i considered taboo to talk to her.
so with that achieved, it was time for a delayed duty, i took my typewriter one wrote my da letter, and signed it with my favorite fountain pen, with my "trade mark" royal blue ink (everyone in the hall knew me for using that color and type of pen).
i will hand it to the elders tomorrow, in february 14th, the "day of love".
Congratulations, Mandrake, on taking the last step in becoming an XJW ( the first step in becoming an XJW is baptism).
When you are comfortable with doing so, I'd like to hear more details about what issues led to you and your Mom opening your eyes.
Congrats to your Mom too. Once our Cosmic Eggshell is cracked, it can't be un-crack it, even with Crazy Glue.

I think I can have them made cheaply (in every sense of the word) enough at an orphanage I know of in the asteroid belt!

I have just recently become aware that mentioning a COUNTRY is an effective way of answering the question "WHERE?"
OH! Scotland! Cleverly concealed down there at the end of the article. Nicely played!

This is EXCELLENT!
I'm enough of a cynic to believe that this site is probably run by an apostate who is using "Yes, we are Jehovah's Witnesses" as a form of "Anti-Theocratic Warfare".
Ask yourself, "who is entitled to a truthful answer to such a question?" A JW? Ha ha ha ha ha!
Let the reader use discernment.
Selah.
from the time i was a small boy - i loved rock n' roll music.
beatles, rolling stones, led zeppelin, hendrix.
i started getting slighted for the music i listened to as i lay in my bedroom listening on headphones to led zeppelin's song " black dog " at age 14 with my elder dad looking suspiciously at me as i'm rocking out .
Talesin, My jaw dropped when I watched episodes of "Gene Simmons' Family Jewels" and came to appreciate how different the man was from his public image. I urge people who haven't seen it to give it a viewing.
He is a GENIUS in so many ways!

Talesin, one of my many "ALMOST claims to fame" is that I went to the same Jr. H. S. that Chaim Witz went to. Although he is less than one month younger than me, I think he was a year ahead of me in school. I didn't know Chaim for the same reason I didn't know anyone else in any of my schools - it was forbidden.
Today I have great admiration for him; he has been far more successful than any of the JW kids I grew up with, he has his head screwed on straight and his family is awesome - far more so than most of the JW families I knew.

In my own case, my excursion into Dub-automaton-ism was so complete that I was self-regulating*; when I heard the music of Led Zeppelin or Cream or The Doors or Jefferson Airplane, I *knew* it was demonic.
"I was so much OLDER then, I'm YOUNGER than that now."
*I am not proud of this; I was an idiot.
there was a df of a mentally challenged young man he sexually assaulted a young girl.. in jesus day people were possessed by demons but we know today they had mental issues.. do you know of any cases where a mentally challenged person was df.. the case that i mention the young man was 18-20 years old and it was a case where he was.
functional, school, friends and was baptized.
i knew the family and if you didn't know he was a. typical teenager.. my question, if a mentally challenged person is able to answer the questions to qualify to be.
I agree with Doubtfully Yours. If a person is not competent to enter into a binding legal contract, what miracle of Jehovah's Magic spirit permits them to dedicate their life to the WTB&TS?
IF Jah's Magic Spirit is SO POWERFUL, where was it when this fellow got an erection?
l was wondering if others get the feeling that the world we live in seems not quite right.l can not pin point anything specific but since childhood days l often get the feeling something isn;t correct.you know the feeling of deja vu.
am l the only one to feel this way?ld love to hear from others and any storys they may have.having been raised in the jdubs maybe lm just suffering mild bouts of paranoia .
Re: the feeling that something isn't quite right.
I'm assuming you are serious. If you are, there are two possibilities:
1. Something in the world outside yourself has changed,
or
2. Something has changed inside you that affects your perception of the world.
